Rivers, springs, streams, and apline lake surround Jackson Hole, which is why so many fishers love visiting the destiantion.
In the Jackson area, the Snake River flows from the Jackson Lake Dam down through the valley before entering Idaho and travelling into Palisades Reservior. The Snake has a reputation for great fishing, and for good reason: the nature of the river can support aquatic life remarkably well all year round and the scenery is unparralled.
